Ashtavakra Mahadev is on a hill above Khola village, three kilometers from Srinagar Town(Uttarakhand) and 08 Kms by road. It is believed that Ashtavakra Muni worshiped Lord Shiva here. Pleased, Lord Shiva appeared in front of the sage and decided to stay there as per his boon. The temple itself is simple to see. It is a 15 feet high structure where there is a vase in the garbha griha, standing eight feet above a self-styled Shivling.
