DAY 01: DEHRADUN – KHARSALI (YAMUNOTRI)
ETD: Sahastradhara Helipad: 0700 AM ETA: Kharsali Helipad: 0745 AM
Pick up from Hotel & drop to helipad on Sahastradhara Road and board your helicopter for Yamunotri. This is your first destination of the Yatra. Our pilots and ground staff will brief the passengers about the entire trip and do’s and don’ts. Upon arrival at Kharsali (The helipad for Yamunotri) you are welcomed by our ground staff, who will unload your baggage and carry them to your hotel. Doli will be provided to Yamunotri temple. This will take 3 hours. After Darshan return to your hotel for lunch. After lunch relax and enjoy the surrounding of your hotel. A visit to nearby ancient Shani temple in the evening is highly recommended. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
YAMUNOTRI:
Maharani Gularia of Jaipur built the temple in the 19th Century. It was destroyed twice in the present century and rebuilt again. Yamunotri temple is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. Yamunotri is the source of revered river Yamuna which originates from the Champasar Glacier lying 1 km ahead of the shrine situated at an elevation of 3235 mts above sea level. The approach is extremely difficult and pilgrims therefore offer Pooja at the temple itself. Yamunotri was the home of an ancient sage Asit Muni. Yamuna is the daughter of the Sun just like Yama who is considered his son. It is believed that Yama would not torment any person at the time of death who takes a holy dip in Yamuna, his sister.
DAY 02: KHARSALI – HARSIL
ETD: Kharsali helipad: 0750 AM ETD: Harsil helipad: 0830 AM
After breakfast report at Kharsali helipad to take the Helicopter for Harsil Helipad (Gangotri). At Harsil you will be received by our representative who will off load your luggage & take them to your resort. Passengers are advised to leave straight for temple in the car & return to resort by lunch time. The temple is 22kms from the helipad & the drive by car takes 45mins to 1hr, depending on traffic. Your stay in Harsil will be most memorable as this resort is set in middle of apple orchards surrounded by snow clad mountains on all sides with a river flowing inside the resort. In the evening enjoy a bonfire next to the river which flows from inside the resort. Dinner and overnight is at Resort.
GANGOTRI:
Gangotri temple is 18th Century temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga. It is located near a sacred stone where king Bhagirath worshipped Lord Shiva Ganga is believed to have touched earth at this spot. According to another legend, Pandavas performed the great “Deva Yagna” here to a tone the death of their kinsmen in the epic battle of Mahabharata. The temple is an exquisite 20 ft. high structure made of white granite.
DAY 03: HARSIL – PHATA – KEDARNATH – PHATA – RAMPUR
ETD: Harsil helipad: 0900 AM ETA Phata helipad: 0945 AM
ETD: Phata helipad: 1000 AM ETA :Kedarnath : 1010 AM
After breakfast at the resort you will drop at Harsil Helipad to take the Helicopter for Kedarnath. Due to Government regulation, you will have to change helicopter at Guptkashi/Phata and take another helicopter from the same helipad for Kedarnath. After VIP Darshan at Kedarnath back to Guptkashi /Phata Helipad by same shuttle. Dinner & overnight stay at Rampur. (Passenger can visit ancient TriyuginarayanTemple in the evening if time permit.) (Due to massive floods last year all accommodation facilities in Kedarnath have been damaged. Night halt will not be provided in Kedarnath, instead we will offer night halt facilities at Rampur.)
KEDARNATH TEMPLE:
The present temple built in 8th Century A.D. by Adi Guru Shankaracharya lies adjacent to the site of an ancient temple built by Pandavas. The temple has a conical lingam – the main idol, a statue of Nandi – the celestial bull, a ‘Garba Grah’ for worship and a main dap for assemblies of pilgrims and visitors. The temple is more than 1000 years old
DAY 04: RAMPUR – PHATA – BADRINATH

BADRINATH:
Cradled in the twin Mountain ranges of Nar and Narayan is the holiest of the four main shrines – Badrinath situated along the left bank of river Alaknanda with the towering Neelkantha Peaks as the splendid backdrop. Once the spot was carpeted with ‘badris’ or wild berries and hence was famous as Badri van. Legend has it, when the Ganga was requested to descend to earth to help suffering humanity; the earth was unable to withstand the force of its descent. Therefore, the mighty Ganga was split into 12 holy channels. Alaknanda was one of them that later became the abode of Lord Vishnu or Badrinath.
DAY 05: BADRINATH – DEHRADUN
ETD :Badrinath: 1130 AM ETA: Dehradun: 1230 AM
Next day early morning at 4 AM we organise special Abhishek Puja at the temple. Here you will get the opportunity to remain inside the garbh grah or sanctum sanctorum for almost 2 hours and see the entire Shringar process of the deity. This puja is the highlight of our CHAR DHAM TRIP. Return to hotel for breakfast, followed by a drive to the helipad for your flight to Dehradun.
